Better Days

In 1988 Armenia experienced a very strong earthquake. Thousands died and even more lost their homes. most of them moved into substitute containers till their homes where rebuild. Now over 30 years later most of them are still living in these containers because there homes never got rebuild. Armenia has very hot summers and very cold winters, so living in a container does not really grant the best weather protection.

In September 2019 Good Weather Forecast and Lisa & Lena joined the humanitarian aid organization GAIN (Global Aid Network) on a trip to Armenia to meet the people who are still living under these circumstances.

GAIN builds houses in the container neighborhoods to get the families step by step out of the containers into houses they can actually live in.
